It has been an amazing experience so far. Working with the youth of Riverside has been so fun, rewarding, exhausting and fulfilling. We have been busy! Coming together at Camp Montgomery, feeding the homeless at Sulzbacher, painting houses with Habijax, "roughing it" at Pioneer Plunge and just being together on Wednesday and Sunday nights. There is a significant amount of Cheerwine involved on Sunday nights, as well as frisbee and football.
This blog is going to be overwhelmed this summer with live posts from our trips. En-route, during and after! Please keep checking this blog, as I will post fabulous videos of everything we do! Whether it be from Appalachia Service Project, Massanetta Middle School Conference, Montreat Youth Conference or Outdoor Challenge. The youth of Riverside are excited to serve, have fun and be together this summer. Our summer trips kick off June 9th! Get ready.
